東京芸術祭2018 Tokyo Festival 2018
東京芸術祭は東京都が主体となって開催される芸術祭で2020年東京オリンピックに向けアート、音楽、舞台など全ての芸術を統括した芸術祭を東京都全体で開催し世界にアピー ルすることを目的として発足。2017年、2018年は豊島区エリアで舞台芸術を中心と3ヶ月に渡り開催されている。その東京芸術祭においてアートディレクターとして全体のアートディレクション、グラフィックデザインをemuniで行なった。ロゴの形は舞台を照らすスポットライトを表現している。舞台芸術の象徴としてスポットライトを丸と線の最小限の要素で構成し、ロゴそのものが光を表し照らされたその先に東京芸術祭があることを表している。その芸術によって世の中を明るく照らすような存在でありたいという想いを込めた。広告ビジュアルについてもスポットライトの形をアイデンティティに交通広告やサイネージのCM、各グッズや演目紹介のための冊子など様々な媒体にて展開した。
The Tokyo Festival is a festival whose protagonist is the Japanese capital, and in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics all kinds of art, music, plays, etc. will be displayed throughout Tokyo to promote the city to the whole world. In 2017 and 2018 it was held for three months in the Toshima Ward area with a focus on performing arts. As art director for the Tokyo Art Festival, emuni performed art direction and graphic design for the whole event. The shape of the logo represents a spotlight illuminating a stage. As a symbol of the performing arts, the spotlight is a minimalistic representation made of circles and lines, showing that the logo itself is as a spotlight shining upon the Tokyo Festival. This was inspired by the desire to bring light to the whole world through art. As for visual advertising, we also used this spotlight image identity for joint advertising and sign ads, merchandise, program introductions, booklets, and more.
